September 2010:

Sunday 5th September, the Malaga Air Display, go to Playa de la Malagueta for the best view. 10am until 2.00pm.

Weekend 11th – 12th the annual Romería in Alhaurin el Grande. A good place to view on Saturday 11th, as they start, is the crossroads at Av. de Mijas and Av. de Andalucia / Blas Infante, where bar El Castillo and the tobacconist are. They usually set off about 6.00pm.

The Romería 2010 programme will no doubt be the same as previous years, details here. Just substitute Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th September 2010 for the dates shown.

Flamenco, Saturday 22nd August at 10.30pm. The venue is the same as previously, the Emilia Olivares School on Gerald Brenan, next to the Health Centre.

Flamenco Night.

The XXVII Noche Flamenca is at the Colegio Emilia Olivares on Saturday 25th July starting at 11.00pm.

Colegio Emilia Olivares is the school opposite Bar Chaplin on Gerald Brenan, but access is from the front and to the left of the Centro de Salud, or from Calle Fuengirola, on the right heading uphill, just before Bar Sanchez.
