Advanced Blogging
When you sign up to Blog Alhaurin, you automatically become a member with the status of “Contributor”. This means that you can read and write posts. You can also save posts and go back and edit them, before submission. Once submitted, your posts are checked by a moderator before going “live” on the blog.
After making a few successful posts, over a period of time, your status at Blog Alhaurin may be upgraded from “Contributor” to “Author”, effectively an advanced and responsible blogger.
The status of “Author” brings additional privileges:
Posts are published to the blog directly, without moderation.
Files can be uploaded, for example pictures, for inclusion in your posts.
You have access to your posts for editing or deletion, even after you have published them.
As you will realise, the membership upgrade to “Author” is well worth achieving for a serious blogger. To gain this status you need to apply by email to the Blog Alhaurin Administrator or by using the “Contact Us” tag to the upper right of this page.
For your upgrade application to be considered, you would most likely have been a member for at least a full month and have made a minimum of four successful posts during your membership period.
